Best of Amsterdam Accessible Canal Tour
Our best value!
This 75 minute Amsterdam accessible canal tour gives you a unique view of the city and provides informative, entertaining commentary on 800 years of history!
You will board the boat at the tour company dock, where wheelchair accessible canal boats are available, equipped with a ramp and motorized lift. Once inside, sit back and enjoy the ride as your skilled captain expertly navigates the canals of this magnificent city.
The recorded audio guide is available in several languages and is extremely educational and enjoyable. Learn why some of the streets are named after animals, why many of the houses are so skinny, and why they have that recognizable gabled roof!
Along the way you will have some great photo opportunities, and if you take the tour during the warmer months, enjoy the ride with the roof open. You will also stop to see the 7 Bridges View, a spot on the canal where you can look through seven bridges at once!
Your accessible canal tour of Amsterdam will take you through the famous Jordaan neighborhood, past the Anne Frank house, and along many famous canals including Prinsengracht and Herengracht, where you can enjoy the fabulous, preserved architecture.
Your tour will end where it began, and you will walk away having learned so much about Amsterdam without even realizing it!
Note: You must reserve a wheelchair accessible boat in advance, as space is limited and not every boat in the fleet has a lift.
