This accessible guided group tour of Valencia includes round-trip accessible transfers, an English-speaking guide, and step-free route!
Your guide and driver will pick you up from the cruise terminal in a wheelchair accessible van to begin your 2.25 hour accessible guided tour of Valencia. At the end of your tour you will have the option to have lunch in the city and add a visit to the Oceanographic Museum before returning to the cruise terminal.
This accessible guided group tour of Valencia includes inside visits to the Basilica of the Virgin of the Hunchbacks as well as La Lonja de la Seda civic building (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). An optional inside visit to the Opus Dei Church of St. John of the Hospital requires a small step to enter. Your guide may be able to help you maneuver over the step or you can opt out of this part of the tour.
Along the way you will also stop at the Central Market to taste some Horchata (a local drink of Valencia) as well as other local specialties. If you would like to stay in the city after the tour to have lunch in an accessible restaurant and visit the Oceanographic Museum, this can be added to the tour (additional fees may apply). Your driver will then return you to the cruise terminal before your ship departs.

The Essential Valencia Accessible Guided Tour has a 4 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because it follows a step-free route. It did not receive a higher rating because you will encounter mild cobblestones and also because it is a group tour and may move at too quickly of a pace for some disabled travelers.
The Essential Valencia Accessible Guided Tour uses a van with wheelchair ramp (shown on the left) to pick you up at the cruise dock or your hotel. The tour minimizes routes over cobblestones (shown on the right).
Your guide will show you the wheelchair ramps and accessible entrances at the attractions you visit.
The accessible tour route only includes one block of mild cobblestones (shown in the photo below on the right).
Your accessible Valencia guided tour visits all the highlights of Valencia including the Basilica of the Virgin of the Hunchbacks (shown on the left) and the Central Market (shown on the right).
