Accessible Italian Cooking Class in Tuscany
Tuscan cuisine is world famous. While you’re visiting Tuscany, why not learn cooking techniques from a local instructor? The Accessible Italian Cooking Class in Tuscany is held on a small farm using ingredients gathered locally. The chef will instruct you in preparing 4 to 5 courses…one or two appetizers, a pasta dish, a meat dish, and a dessert. After the accessible Tuscany cooking class is complete, you get to eat what you’ve created while enjoying local wine created on-site! This class begins at 10 am. These are small classes and limited to 4 people per class. The menu changes every day so you can join more than one class during your visit to Tuscany. On Tuesdays you can join the baking lesson including items such as bread, cakes, biscuits, pizza, and/or focaccia.

Accessibility Details
The Accessible Italian Cooking Class in Tuscany has a 4 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because it has a flat entrance to the building and does not require any long distances. It did not get a higher rating because the bathroom door may be too narrow for some wheelchairs (my wheelchair was able to fit). The building where the accessible Tuscany cooking class is held has flat access at the entrance.
During your cooking lesson, you will make your meal from scratch! Examples include home-made pasta shown on the left and a yummy finished product of eggplant parmesan shown on the right.
There is a small lip into accessible bathroom. The door into the bathroom is a little narrow but it will work for many wheelchair users.
