Besides from an excellent location right in the heart of the city, this hotel also offers beautiful accessible common spaces including an idyllic courtyard with seating areas and lush trees.

This wheelchair friendly Zurich hotel offers wonderful accessibility features! You’ll enjoy a completely flat main entrance with wide automated doors, a smooth and flat lobby area with seating options, as well elevators to help you navigate the different floors. There is also an accessible restaurant and charming courtyard available at the hotel.

When staying at this hotel, you’ll enjoy a comfortable double bed with space for your wheelchair on either side of the bed, a small sitting area, as well as wide doors to enter the room and bathroom. The room also has a TV, Nespresso coffee maker and free Wi-Fi. The disabled bathrooms have tubs with grab bars, a floating sink, as well as a grab bar by the toilet. You’ll also find a small shower area by the sink, with an attached shower chair, as well as a grab bar. This is not a full roll in shower, but serves the same purpose and may work well for some visitors (see photo below).

This Centrally Located Disabled Zurich Hotel received a 3 Star Sage Accessibility Rating. It offers a good base for disabled guests wanting to stay in the heart of the city, with accessible rooms with bath tubs and a roll in shower area by the sink. It did not receive a higher rating because it does not have a true roll in shower. Instead, there is a shower chair and shower head located in the sink area for visitors who do not want to/ or cannot use the bathtub.

The accessible bedrooms offers a simple layout with flat flooring and a double bed.Your wheelchair can be positioned on either side of the bed. There is a small sitting area in the corner of the room.

The bathroom is small but has enough space for wheelchair users to navigate it. It features a grab bar by the toilet, a grab bar in the bathtub and also an open shower area by the sink with an attached shower chair and a grab bar.

The hotel offers a flat main entrance with wide automated doors. The lobby is flat and easy to maneuver in a wheelchair. There there are stairs inside the hotel, these can be avoided by using the elevators on site. The elevators are wider than 75 cm. The outdoor courtyard is accessible as well.
