Centrally Located Accessible Brussels Hotel

This accessible Brussels city center hotel is puts you right in the heart of the city, in the vibrant Saint Catherine district. This modern style Brussels hotel is one of the few fully accessible hotels you’ll find in the heart of the city center. The hotel has fully accessible common spaces including a flat main entrance, a large open lobby area with smooth flooring and seating areas, a fully accessible restaurant and breakfast room as well as 35-inch-wide elevators that provide easy access to the different floors.

This wheelchair accessible hotel offers 6 accessible rooms, one located on each floor right by the elevators. The rooms have a simple layout with a queen bed that allows for your wheelchair to fit on either side of the bed. The disabled rooms have extra wide doorways, and also come with a LCD TV and tea and coffee makers. The accessible restrooms have wonderful accessibility features including a roll in shower with an attached shower chair with grab bars, grab bars by the toilet as well as a floating sink that allows for easy wheelchair access.

You won’t need a rental car when staying at this central Brussels hotel! You’ll be located right in the heart of the city, only 0.3 miles from the Museum of the City of Brussels and the Brussels City Hall, 0.4 miles from the Rue Neuve and Grand Place peppered with shops, restaurants and more. The Brussels Central Station is 1 mile away from your hotel, and several metro stations is in walking/rolling distance as well.

Accessibility Details

This Centrally Located Accessible Brussels Hotel received a 4-star Sage Accessibility Rating because it has great accessibility features including accessible common spaces and a fully accessible rooms with roll-in shower with grab-bars. The location makes it easy to get around the city. It did not receive a higher rating because there is a small barrier into the roll in showers (see photos below).

The hotel features 6 accessible rooms located different floors. They offer a spacious layout with plenty of turning surface and wide doorways. All rooms are equipped with a Queen Bed.

The accessible bathroom features an open roll in shower with an attached shower chair. Note the chair has grab bars on both sides. There are no grab bars on the walls. There is also grab bars located on both sides of the toilet. The sink has an open space underneath.

Please note this small barrier between leading into the roll in shower.

The hotel lobby is open and has smooth flooring throughout. The onsite breakfast room and restaurant are both fully accessible as well. The main entrance to the hotel is flat and has automatic doors.
