The Essential Cartagena Accessible Guided Tour has a 4 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because the tour will be step-free throughout and no vehicles are needed. It did not receive a higher rating because you will encounter mild cobblestones and inclines along the way. Please note that the approximate length of the walking/rolling tour is 2 kilometers.
At the Roman Forum Museum, your guide will lead you using accessible routes. Flat paths are available to see the Roman Theater and several exhibitions are located in wheelchair accessible areas. Some gravel or uneven ground is present in a few places.
The route used in the Cartagena city center is flat and mostly smooth. Wheelchair users will not have any issues navigating the terrain here. See examples of Plaza del Ayuntamiento and the promenade to the port below.
The naval museum has a small incline to the entrance with some unven surfaces. The doors are wide and automatic. The area outside by the submarine is flat and smooth.
