This tour also includes accessible transportation to and from the cruise dock or hotel to the encounter site.
Your accessible swim with the dolphins opens with an entertaining orientation, which covers a dolphin’s anatomy, the history of dolphins, training techniques and fascinating dolphin facts.
You will then have the opportunity to pet, play, hug, kiss, and swim with dolphins. Trainers, familiar with the needs of limited mobility participants, will assist you with each step of the interaction. The “can-do” attitude and patience of the carefully selected dolphin trainers make this a pleasant and exciting setting for all limited mobility participants!
Family and friends who are not taking part in the accessible dolphin program may observe from a wheelchair accessible viewing area.
Some specific dolphin encounter activities will depend on the accessibility needs of the individual. Contact us to discuss your specific accessibility needs. Please note: You must have a companion who can assist you into and out of the water.

The Nassau Accessible Swim with the Dolphins has received a 3-star accessibility rating. The tour does not require a wheelchair user to transfer during transportation. The only reason why it didn’t receive a higher rating is that in order to participate in the dolphin encounter, one must transfer out of the wheelchair and into the water. If you do not want to participate in the encounter and wish to view it from the accessible viewing area, this tour would have a 5-star rating.

Please note that for this tour, you must be willing to transfer out of your wheelchair and into the water to swim with the dolphins. You must have a companion who can assist you into and out of the water. There is a wheelchair friendly viewing area available for visitor who do not wish to get in the water.

Cost: $485 for 1 person participating in dolphin program, each additional person participating in dolphin program is $187.
