Wheelchair Access in Florence
I visited Florence in my wheelchair in May 2008. The major tourist attractions including the Uffizi Gallery, the Accademia, and the Santa Croce church are all wheelchair accessible. The city has lots of cobblestones that can be difficult for wheelchairs but many of the attractions are not far from each other.
