Taksim Square is only two blocks away from this Istanbul handicap accessible hotel. The neighborhood around the hotel is flat with several accessible restaurants.

We gave this hotel a 3 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because it has a step-free entrance and a disabled hotel room. We didn’t give it a 4 star rating because the bathroom door is not wide enough for all wheelchairs and the bathroom does not have a roll-in shower like some other handicap accessible hotels in Istanbul.

There are 2 beds in these Istanbul handicapped accessible hotel rooms. A wheelchair can fit on both sides of the beds. There is a desk located at the foot of the bed with a flat screen TV on the wall.

The bathroom door is somewhat narrow but may be wide enough for some wheelchairs. My wheelchair is 27 inches and barely fit. The bathroom has a bathtub. The bathroom door swings next to the bathtub and prevents a wheelchair from pulling up directly next to bathtub. A wheelchair user would need to transfer to toilet then remove the wheelchair from the bathroom, shut the door, then transfer into bathtub.

There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom in the lobby that has grab bars on both sides of the toilet.

The side entrance to the hotel has a wheelchair ramp with a push/pull door.
