Watch John Sage describe the London Accessibility Guide:

Mobility scooters allow many senior and disabled London visitors to see far more than if they were walking around through the city. London mobility scooter rental costs 188 GBP for up to one week including delivery. London rental wheelchairs are also available for both manual and electric wheelchairs. Rental manual wheelchairs are 162 GBP per week including delivery, and rental electric wheelchairs are 188 GBP per week including delivery.

Disabled visitors to London can easily visit Stonehenge in a day-trip by wheelchair accessible vehicle or accessible train. Stonehenge wheelchair access is quite good with no steps and a couple of ramps leading from the parking lot to the pathway surrounding the ruins. The nearby town of Salisbury with its towering Cathedral and its copy of the Magna Carta are easy to visit in the same day.
The London Eye provides some of the best views in London, and disabled visitors will be happy to know that it is accessible. Although it almost continually rotates, London Eye handicapped access is possible because the staff members will stop the London Eye from moving and put out a wheelchair ramp to get onto it. London disabled tourists going to the London Eye need to avoid the stairs near the Westminster Bridge and choose the step-free route along York Road.
The Tower of London (and the Crown Jewels that are housed there) is one of the most popular tourist attractions in London. Due to its Medieval age, disabled access is more challenging than at most other London tourist attractions. Wheelchair access to the Tower of London requires going over cobblestones and choosing the step-free route shown on our Tower of London Accessibility page.

London accessible tours are available in a variety of forms to disabled tourists.  A 3 hour accessible driving tour will provide you with a great overview to begin your trip and a more intimate London accessible walking tour will give you a more detailed look. My favorite way to see London is with an accessible boat tour on the Thames River! Several day trips are available including aStonehenge accessible tour, a Cambridge accessible tour, and an Oxford accessible tour

"Graham was a great guide and incredibly knowledgeable of London and the many historical sites we visited. We loved Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Palace and gardens and the list goes on and on.
