  Arc de Triomphe Wheelchair Accessibility – The Arc de Triomphe is located in the center of a super-busy roundabout that requires using a tunnel to get to it. Wheelchair access to the Arc de Triomphe museum level is accessed by an elevator after a couple of steps, and the viewing level requires another 40 steps. My recommendation is to view it from the outside (possibly from a taxi) and go to the Eiffel Tower if you want a good view of the city.

Where is it located? Main entrance is at the base of the Arc de Triomphe
Are there steps to get into the building? Yes, there are 2 steps to get into the building, followed by a 80 cm wide elevator

Where is the closest place that cars/taxis can drop-off people? In the middle of the roundabout at Place Charles de Gaulle. Call 01 55 37 73 78 to notify them in advance.

Where is the closest disabled parking? Less than 400m away on avenue Carnot, avenue des Champs-Elysées, or avenue de la Grande Armée. The tunnel under the roundabout has 26 unavoidable steps down and 30 up.

What is the closest metro station? Charles de Gaulle-Etoile

Are there cobblestones or hills leading to the entrance? Flat and lightly cobbled until 2 steps at entrance

What percentage of the attraction can be viewed without having to go up steps? None of the interior is step-free. The exterior can be seen without ascending steps.

Which parts are not accessible? 3 steps to enter and take the 80 cm wide elevator to the museum level. 40 steps after the elevator to views from the top.
