Rome Roll-in Shower Hotel Rooms
This 4 star hotel has two Rome disabled roll-in shower hotel rooms. Although this hotel is located just next to the Roman Forum, there is no direct step-free route to travel to the north side of the Roman Forum to the Via dei Fori Imperiali. Consequently, getting to the Colosseum requires going by the Circus Maximus which is only 2 blocks away. Going to the Victor Emanuel Monument requires going down a small sloped cobblestone street. Electric wheelchair users and mobility scooters will not have a problem with these routes. Manual wheelchair users may want to call a taxi start off their day.
The hotel lies on a street with little pedestrian or car traffic in a quiet neighborhood. These Rome roll-in shower wheelchair accessible rooms have a handheld shower and a chair attached to the wall. Grab bars are located on both sides of the toilet. There is an accessible restaurant inside the hotel, and the staff informed me there are a couple of restaurants two blocks away.

I almost gave this a 5 star accessibility rating, but instead it gets a 4 star accessibility rating. It has a step-free entrance, motion-activated doors, a step-free interior, and grab bars next to the toilet. The only thing it is missing is grab bars next to the chair in the roll-in shower.
These Rome roll-in shower disabled hotel rooms has wooden floors and space on both sides of the bed for wheelchair users to maneuver.
The wheelchair accessible toilet has space underneath the sink for a wheelchair user’s knees to fit. The roll-in shower has a hand-held shower and a chair attached to the wall. The disabled toilet has grab bars on both sides of the toilet. The image in the lower right shows the interesting exposed architecture in the hall inside the wheelchair accessible room.
Inside the hotel, a small ramp leads past a couple of steps.
The restaurant has an inside area and an outside area facing a small garden. There is a small step to get out to the outdoor seating.
The street that this hotel is located on is covered in cobblestones. The pictures in the bottom left were taken from the entrance to the hotel and show the view of the Palatine Hill. Disabled parking is allowed in from of the hotel even though there are not designated disabled parking spots.
