The full-day Accessible Ephesus Cruise Excursion from Kusadasi or Izmir visits the same sites as the half-day tour, but it also adds the House of the Virgin Mary and the Basilica of St. John.
The tour uses a wheelchair accessible van to bring you from the Kusadasi or Izmir cruise port to the Ephesus ruins.
The House of the Virgin Mary was first discovered in the 19th century and it is believed that Mary was brought here by Saint John and lived here late in life.
The Basilica of St. John is also included on the tour. The ruins of this 6th century church are home to the burial site of St. John the Apostle.

It did not receive a 5 star rating because there is a bit of uneven terrain at the Ephesus ruins. It avoids the long downhill cobblestone-covered road that most tours take which allows it to get a 4 star rating.
Your tour guide will meet you at the Kusadasi cruise terminal or Izmir cruise terminal with a sign holding your name. Transportation on this accessible cruise excursion to Ephesus is provided by a wheelchair accessible van (shown in the photo on the right).
The Accessible Ephesus Cruise Excursion from Kusadasi or Izmir uses a wheelchair accessible route to visit the House of the Virgin Mary. The route is slightly uphill from the parking area to the house and includes a couple of ramps.
The small building has two small, long steps at the entrance (shown in the photo on the left). Many wheelchair users can manage with slight assistance. In between the two interior rooms, there is a single step down (shown in the photo on the right).
There is a narrow door at the exit which has a ramp leading down.
The ruins of the Basilica of St. John are located just below the fortress in Selcuk (shown in the photo on the left). The site is believed to be the burial place of St. John the Apostle. Cancellation policy: 80% refund with at least 7 days notice, 50% refund with at least 4 days notice, and no refund with less than 4 days notice. Tours run rain or shine.
