The main entrance to the museum is wheelchair accessible. There is a staff member up a few steps behind glass. You will need to get his attention and have him automatically open the large glass doors into the courtyard. Cross the courtyard with cobblestones and go up the ramp into the building (see pictures below).

Inside you will find a loaner wheelchair and audioguides available in French, English, German, Hebrew, and Spanish.

I gave this museum a 3 Star Sage Accessibility rating instead of a 4 star rating because of the cobblestone courtyard with 3 star smoothness and the ramp into the building with 3 star flatness.

Is there an accessible entrance? Yes, there is a manual glass door on Rue du Temple followed by a courtyard with cobblestones (3 Star Sage Smoothness). At the other end of the courtyard, there is a ramp to get up 3 steps at the entrance.

Where is the closest handicapped parking? At Centre Pompidou about 150 m away.

Are there cobblestones or hills leading to the entrance? The courtyard leading to the entrance of the museum has cobblestones (3 Star Sage Smoothness) and is flat.

Which parts are not accessible? The Media Library does not have an elevator.

The picture on the left shows the entrance to the courtyard. The people in the right picture are heading towards the metal detectors. There is a guard up a few steps and behind glass. You will need to get his attention.
 

The guard will automatically open the glass doors for you. The entrance to the building is across this courtyard with cobblestons (3 star smoothness).
 

There is a ramp with 3 star flatness to enter the building (some wheelchair users can get up it themselves and some will need assistance). There is a rental wheelchair inside the building:
