We gave this hotel a 4 Star Sage Accessibility rating because it has a roll-in shower with a sturdy seat, grab bars on both sides of the toilet, and an elevator that is large enough for a wheelchair. It almost got a 5 star rating, but the step-free entrance requires notification of a hotel staff member.
The junior suite in this disabled Venice accommodation has a table with chairs on the left side of the room (shown in the photo on the left). If you move the table, the bedroom has enough space for a wheelchair on both sides of the bed.
When you enter the disabled bathroom, there is a sink in front of you that has enough space for a wheelchair user to fit their knees underneath. In the far right is a toilet with a grab bar on both sides of it. The roll-in shower has a sturdy chair attached to the wall and a handheld shower nozzle. There is a grab bar on the left side of the chair.
The outside of the hotel is shown in the pictures below. The entrance has a small step at the entrance.
The staff can activate a small ramp that folds out to help wheelchair users get up the small step at the entrance.
There is an elevator wide enough for a wheelchair to get up to the disabled hotel room. The picture of the breakfast room is shown in the lower right. It has plenty of room to navigate in a wheelchair.
This hotel has nearby accessible outdoor restaurants that line the Grand Canal. There are no bridges or steps to get between the hotel and these restaurants which have some of the best views of any restaurant in Venice. The photograph of the right shows the Rialto Bridge in the background.
