Private Accessible Bari Walking Tour
Our most affordable tour!
This 3 hour private accessible walking tour of Bari is perfect for disabled visitors who prefer a short excursion that includes all the highlights!
If you’re arriving in Bari on an accessible European cruise, no transportation is necessary since the Old Town is only about 600 meters away from the cruise terminal! Your guide will meet you after you disembark, and will guide you the short distance into the city to start the tour.
Bari’s Old Town is quite small (only about a kilometer across!), but you can almost feel its vast history as you navigate through the narrow, winding streets, crossing under stone arches and between towering buildings on either side.
This accessible Bari walking tour visits the city’s three main attractions—the Basilica of Saint Nicholas (the same Saint Nicholas we got our modern Santa Claus from!), The Cathedral of San Sabino (Bari Cathedral), and the CastelloSvevo.
Your local, English speaking guide will tell you about Saint Nicholas, or Nikolaos or Bari, some of whose bones and relics still remain here at the Basilica of Saint Nicholas. You’ll also hear about the Cathedral of San Sabino, also known as Bari Cathedral, a prime example of Apulian Romanesque architecture, dating back to the 11th century. Finally, you’ll learn about the CastelloSvevo, a Swabian castle built in the 12th century by the Norman King Roger II.
At the end of your private accessible walking tour of Bari, your guide will escort you back through the Old Town to the cruise terminal to your cruise ship.
The Private Accessible Bari Walking Tour features:
- Convenient accessible tour routes confirmed to be wheelchair accessible (no steps or curbs)

- Tour guide can push manual wheelchair users (depends on the total weight of the wheelchair plus wheelchair user)
