The Byzantine Athens Handicapped Accessible Tour has a 3 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because it uses a step-free route and wheelchair accessible entrances to attractions. The tour did not receive a higher rating because you will encounter some cobblestones and uneven terrain on the route.
This accessible Athens tour begins at the Byzantine and Christian Museum which has a wheelchair accessible entrance.
The Byzantine and Christian Museum has numerous artifacts and displays. It has a wheelchair accessible elevator to get between floors.
You will visit multiple Byzantine churches during the Byzantine Athens Handicapped Accessible Tour. One of the highlights is the Church of the Holy Apostles which is over 1000 years old (shown in the photo on the left). The church is located in the Ancient Agora shown in the photo on the right.
A visit to the Ancient Agora is one of the highlights of Athens that many tourists miss! Consequently, there are few tourists and you can touch the historical artifacts. Wheelchair accessible paths are available in many parts of Athens’ Ancient Agora.

Tour duration: 4 hours
Cost: 450 euro for 1 to 4 people, 525 euro for 5 to 8 people, 600 euro for 9 to 12 people
* 50 euro off if booked as part of an accessible cruise & excursions package.
* 20 euro off if booked as part of an accessible Athens travel package.

Maximum number of people on tour: Up to 8 people
Entrance tickets: Not included. Some entrance tickets are free for disabled visitors if they have an ID card from their home country stating the percent of their disability.
Cancellation policy: 90% refund with at least 7 days notice, 50% refund with at least 4 days notice, no refund with less than 4 days notice. Tours run rain or shine.
Not included: Entrance tickets, snacks/meals, and gratuities.
