It is located in one of the city’s oldest quarters, in a charming 18th century post office building.  The hotel offers a small, quiet and relaxing place for your accessible Normandy getaway.

This wheelchair accessible hotel offers 1 accessible room located on the ground floor in the separate building to the right of the main entrance of the hotel. It offers a light and spacious layout with modern décor and Wi-Fi access. The room is sound proofed and has a wide entry door way, space for your wheelchair on either side of the bed, as well as a fully accessible bathroom. Among the features you’ll find here are a grab bar by the toilet, grab bars in the shower, a portable shower chair as well as a sink with space underneath to fit your wheelchair.

While staying at this hotel, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet in the wheelchair accessible breakfast room located on the ground floor in the main building. There is also an onsite restaurant with outdoor seating available, perfect for those relaxing, beautiful Normandy evenings.

You won’t need a rental car when staying at this central Bayeux hotel! You’ll be located right in the heart of the city, only a 5 minutes stroll from the Museum of Bayeux Tapestry,10 minutes from the Baron Gerard Museum of Art and History and 15 minutes from Cathedrale Notre Dame de Bayeux. While some of the city center is covered in mild to moderate cobblestones, you’ll still be able to venture out on your own in most parts surrounding the hotel.

This Centrally Located Wheelchair Friendly Bayeux Hotel received a 3-star Sage Accessibility Rating because it has great accessibility features including accessible common spaces and a fully accessible rooms with roll-in shower with grab-bars. The location makes it easy to get around the city. It did not receive a higher rating because disabled visitors must be able and willing to navigate the cobblestones located right outside the hotel. Furthermore, please be aware that the front door into the building has a small 0.5” lip that may be challenging for some disabled visitors.

The hotel features accessible room located on the ground floor. It offers a spacious layout with plenty of turning surface and wide doorways.

The accessible bathroom features an open roll in shower with two grab bar and a portable shower stool. There is also a grab bar located by the toilet. The sink has an open space underneath where your wheelchair will easily fit.
