Well we are all home safe and sound and really missing Brugge 🙁

The holiday was excellent, everything that we wanted and then more! The hotel was outstanding! Sis and I just stood in our room with our jaws hitting the floor, it was wonderful to wake up in such beautiful surroundings every day. The staff were great and the facilities perfect, we couldn’t have been anywhere better. Brugge itself was gorgeous and when we met Maurice on our guided tour, sis almost packed him up to come home with us! He was so knowledgeable and Amanda loves history, it was a joy to listen to them both and occasionally get a word in, hehe! We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed his company, thank you so much for arranging it, it was one of our highlights. I must say that facilities for wheelchairs were better than expected, we got in and around all the museums we wanted to see and everyone was so helpful, the Historium was beautiful!!

So we will be in contact again, this is just to say a very big THANK YOU!! and that comes from us all 🙂

Dear Danielle,

This is just to let you know that the trip to Bruges was a great success, and that my mother really enjoyed her holiday, which was made all the easier thanks to your help and good advice.
The hotels were excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had two excellent rooms next door to each other, the lift was in easy reach, and my mother’s room was spacious and comfortable, with a very accessible bathroom. 

We had a lot of fun driving around the streets of Bruges in our rental car guided by satnav. This was essential, given the complexities of the one-way system in the city centre, but in fact I found driving there not too problematic and we were able to park within a few yards of every museum, restaurant, etc.

The cobbles are a bit of a problem for rollators (we brought ours with us), but we managed.

The minibus tour was excellent and accessible. We decided against the boat tour, as getting in and out of the boat requires more agility than my mother can manage. 

Anyway, thanks again for all your help, and next time we plan a trip we’ll have a look at your site.
