Client Testimonials – Edinburgh Accessible Travel Package

Thank you once again for organising my recent trip to Edinburgh. It was very enjoyable and was helped considerably by the fact that Ireland won the match and, consequently, the 6 Nations Championship.

The hotel was  excellent and the shower and bathroom facilities were perfectly accessible. The room was fairly cramped with perhaps too much furniture to make it negotiable in a wheelchair. It was impossible to accommodate both the hired scooter and my manual wheelchair in the room. However, the hotel staff who were extremely helpful and could not do enough for me allowed me to park and charge the scooter during the night at a power point close to the lift. (I think the power point was intended for an adjacent shoe shine.) In the morning I would phone reception, go to the power point in my manual wheelchair and transfer into the scooter. A member of the hotel staff would put the manual wheelchair back in my room.
