Visit the great pyramids of Egypt and discover over 5,000 years of history through ancient artifacts in this Cairo full day accessible cruise excursion!
Your tour will begin when your guide and driver pick you up from the Alexandria or Port Said cruise terminal in a wheelchair accessible van. You will then make the drive to Cairo from the comfort of the air-conditioned vehicle.
Once in Cairo, you will first visit the Pyramids of Giza: the Pyramid of King Cheops, the Pyramid of Chephren, and the Pyramid of Mykerinus. Your tour continues with a stop at the Sphinx, one of the most iconic monuments in Egypt.
You with then break for lunch in an accessible restaurant before continuing to the Egyptian Museum, which is home to over 250,000 ancient artifacts, and represents over 5,000 years of history! One of the highlights of the museum is the Tutankhamen collection, which is a 3,500 year old treasure that was discovered in Tutankhamen’s tomb in the 1920s.
The final stop on your Highlights of Cairo Full Day Accessible Excursion will be at the Papyrus Institute, where you will have the opportunity to do some shopping before your driver drops you back off at the cruise terminal in Alexandria or Port Said.
*A visit inside the pyramid burial chambers is not included in this tour and is not recommended for those with health problems, limited mobility, or claustrophobia.

Accessibility Details
The Highlights of Cairo Full Day Accessible Excursion has a 5 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because it includes accessible van transportation with a wheelchair ramp as well as an assistant who is able to push a wheelchair.
You will use the wheelchair ramp at the accessible entrance to the Giza Pyramids. You may encounter some cobblestones along the way, but there will be an assistant with you at all times (included in the price of the tour) in case there is a need for someone to push a wheelchair.
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is accessible and there are wheelchair ramps that can be used.
