2017 Accessible Escorted Group Trips – Where do YOU want to go?

Group travel is a fun and different way to experience Europe! After escorting our accessible Paris group trip last month, I am even more committed to offering our clients and their families memorable, fully accessible group travel options in the future..
– but I need your help!

Below you will find some of the options we are considering for 2017. We won’t be offering all of these.  So help us decide!

As you read through these descriptions, be thinking about these two questions:
1)     Which of these possible group trips would you book? 
2)     Which one would be your top choice?  

All of the possible trip options below feature:
  • Meet and share experiences with other disabled travelers!
  • Guaranteed Accessible Accommodation in a 4 star hotel or luxurious cruise ship
  • Step-Free-Routes and Accessible Transportation using wheelchair ramps or lifts
  • Guided tours every day of the trip led by expert, experienced tour guides
  • Tasting of local cuisine in accessible restaurants with accessible bathrooms
  • Accompanying Sage Traveling employee to coordinate logistics and handle any problems that you have

Possible 2017 Accessible Group Trips
 
Group Trip #1 – 7 Nights Fully-Accessible London
Highlights: Big Ben, Parliament, Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Cabinet War Rooms, Thames River boat tour, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral, National Gallery, Trafalgar Square, Windsor Castle, and British Museum.
 
Free time for shopping, theatre, and sightseeing at places like British Library, Imperial War Museum, National Portrait Gallery, Tate Modern Museum, and more.
 
Group Trip #2 – 7 Nights Fully-Accessible Paris
Highlights: Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Sacre Couer Cathedral, Louvre Museum, Orsay Museum, Champs-Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, Dinner Cruise on the Seine River, and Versailles Palace and Gardens.
 
Free time for shopping and sightseeing at attractions like Rodin Museum, Orangerie Museum, Marmottan Monet Museum, Pompidou Centre, Les Invalides & Military History Museum, Jewish Art and History Museum, Sainte-Chapelle church, and more.
 
 
Group Trip #3 – 8 Nights Fully-Accessible London and Paris
London Highlights: Big Ben, Parliament, Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Cabinet War Rooms, Thames River boat tour, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral, National Gallery, and Trafalgar Square
 
Paris Highlights: Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Sacre Couer Cathedral, Louvre Museum, Orsay Museum, Champs-Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, and Dinner Cruise on the Seine River.
Travel between the two cities on the “chunnel” train. Extending your stays in London and/or Paris is possible.
 
Group Trip #4 – 10 Nights Fully-Accessible Italy
Rome Highlights: Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vittorio Emmanuelle monument, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican Museums, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain.  Free time for shopping and sightseeing at attractions like Capitoline Museums, Borghese Gallery, National Museum of Rome, many churches, and more.
 
Florence Highlights: Ponte Vecchio, Michelangelo’s David, Florence’s Duomo cathedral, Piazza della Signoria, Uffizi Gallery, Santa Croce Church, Piazzale Michelangelo, Palazzo Vecchio.  Free time for shopping and sightseeing at attractions like San Marco Museum, Medici Chapels, Santa Maria Novella church, Pitti Palace, and more.
 
Venice Highlights: St. Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace, Rialto Bridge, Grand Canal, and Fish Market.  Free time for shopping and sightseeing at attractions like Correr Museum, Ca Rezzonico Museum, Accademia Museum, Frari Church, and more.
Accessible transportation by accessible vans, trains, and/or boats. 
 
Extending your trip to visit other regions of Italy is possible.

Group Trip #6 – 7 Nights Fully-Accessible Western Mediterranean Cruise
Palma de Mallorca – La Seu cathedral, Palma de Mallorca City Hall, Plaça Major, Plaça Cort, accessible beach, and more.
Provence – Avignon, the Palace of the Popes, Rocher des Doms gardens, Pont Saint-Benezet bridge, old city walls, vineyards, and more
Florence – Ponte Vecchio, Michelangelo’s David, Florence’s Duomo cathedral, Piazza della Signoria, and more
Rome – Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vittorio Emmanuelle monument, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, and more
