Handicap Accessible Golf Cart Tours in Rome Italy
Of all of the accessible tours in Rome, this Rome Golf Cart Tour for Seniors and Disabled is the most unique and most popular of all our tours. Rome is the only European city where you can see the city from the comfort of a golf cart.
The city center is completely covered in some of the more severe cobblestones in Europe, presenting challenges for disabled tourists block after block. With the Rome Golf Cart Tour for Seniors and Disabled, you can ride effortlessly over the cobblestones from tourist attraction to tourist attraction.
Tour Highlights
Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Campo dei Fiori Food Market, Piazza Farnese. These sights can also be visited by an accessible walking tour of Rome city center or an accessible Rome driving tour.
Accessibility Description
The golf cart will fit the driver plus 3 passengers. The golf cart will not fit a mobility scooter, an electric wheelchair, or a manual wheelchair so you will need to leave your wheelchair or mobility scooter at your hotel when you are picked up.
The Rome Golf Cart Tour for Seniors and Disabled will stop at all of the sites mentioned above where you can get out of the golf cart and look around if you would like.
The Spanish Steps have an elevator to get to the top if you wish. Piazza Navona has cobblestones and a single curb to get to the fountains in the middle of the square where local artists sell their work. You will have no problem viewing the fountains from the golf cart. The Pantheon has a wheelchair ramp on the front-left of the building. The Campo dei Fiori Food Market and the Piazza Farnese are both flat with cobblestones.
This Rome Golf Cart Tour for Seniors and Disabled has a 3 Star Sage Accessibility Rating because wheelchair users will need to transfer out of their wheelchair at their hotel. For people who don’t use a wheelchair but are slow walkers, this tour is a great option.
