This Accessible 3-hour Barbados Cave Experience brings you to the heart of Barbados where one of its greatest wonders lies, Harrison’s Cave. This breathtakingly beautiful, crystallized limestone cavern is a testament to nature’s mastery. Flowing streams, deep pools of crystal-clear water and towering columns characterize this living cave. Gaze in wonder at the white flow stones and in awe at the beauty of the speleothems which adorn the cave from the comfort of the accessible cave tram.
Start your day by meeting your tour guide by the Barbados cruise dock. From here, you will board your private accessible van and enjoy a scenic drive to the central uplands of the island, where Harrison’s Cave is located. When you arrive at Harrison’s Cave, your driver will guide you to the accessible entrance, where you are able to access the wheelchair adapted tram.
The accessible tram will take you on a 45-minute exciting journey and venture deep beneath the earth’s surface to explore one of Barbados’ natural treasures on this Accessible Barbados Cave Experience through this living cave. Onboard the tram, you will be escorted by a friendly knowledgeable tour guide providing lively commentary along the ride.
When you finish your tram tour, you will have some time to visit the information center at the cave, stroll around the shop or enjoy a drink or snack (cost not included). At the end of the tour, you driver will return to escort you back to the cruise dock. Your driver will stop at various picturesque points, giving you the opportunity to take some amazing photos..

Accessibility Description:
The Accessible Barbados Cave Experience has a 4-star accessibility rating. The route has been customized to make sure it is entirely step-free, and your knowledgeable tour guide is familiar with accessibility in each location. An accessible van equipped with a lift will be used to transport you to and from the Cave. At the Cave, the tram is equipped with a ramp to enter.

The visitor center at Harrison’s cave is accessible with ramped access. You will use a lift to get down to the cave level. As you wait for the tram to arrive, you will have time to enjoy the beautiful lush setting of a small botanical garden with a few souvenir shops. The area is completely flat and paved. There is also an accessible restroom available.
