Your accessible guided walking/rolling tour of Brussels begins when you meet your professional tour guide at your centrally located Brussels hotel. From here, you will head out on a memorable stroll along the charming old streets of Brussels, exploring the many incredible highlights in the heart of the city. Escorted by your private tour guide, you will visit the main market square Grote Markt, also called Grand Place. The beautiful body of public and private buildings lined up along the square dates back to the late 17th century and provides a vivid illustration of the level of social and cultural life at that time. Among the glorious buildings you will find opulent guildhalls, the City’s Town Hall, the King’s House and the Museum of the City of Brussels. The Grand Palace is of such beauty and importance that it registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List!
As you make your way around the city center, you will also see the famous statue of “MannekePis”, known as an emblem of the rebellious spirit of the City of Brussels. The small bronze sculpture was designed and put in place in 1618 but the current statue is a copy from 1965.You will also have time to do some souvenir shopping along the way.

The Wheelchair Accessible Guided Tour of Brussels has received a 5 Star Sage Accessibility Rating. While it is completely step-free, Brussels city center is notorious for its many cobblestones. Your tour guide is experienced in navigating the city with wheelchair users and will lead you using the most accessible paths. However, mild to moderate cobblestones are present in certain areas, and some streets have mild slopes as well.
Grote Markt public square is completely flat. However, you will experience mild to moderate cobblestones.
Some streets have slopes and may be challenging for manual wheelchair users. Your tour guide can avoid these if necessary.
